The function of the Motor Pool Committee was to supervise a new University policy regarding their vehicles. This committee was to assure the complete utilization of University vehicles, including proper assignment, proper maintenance and determining the most advantageous capabilities of these vehicles.

The chairman of this committee was the Director of the Physical Plant. The committee reported to the Support Services Vice President.
