The Library Committee was established in 1904 and was composed of Faculty who advised the activities of the library.  The Committee worked under the direction of the President of the University. Chairmen of this committee include James L. Brown (1904-1910), Joseph Peterson (1910-1911), Alice L. Reynolds (1911-1924, 1925-1939), G.H. Brimhall (1924-1925), W.J. Snow (1939-1940), Wilford Poulson (1940-1948), and A.C. Lambert (1948-1950).
