Learning Services provides student and teacher evaluation services, in-class media support (i.e. film delivery, AV equipment delivery, and a media production service), and out-of-class mediated instruction (e.g., facilities for the retrieval and delivery of audiovisual information to student and faculty). Units under Learning Services include Audiovisual Services, Computer Teaching Services, Instructional Graphics, the Academic Skills Center, Teacher Evaluation Services, Learning Resource Centers, and Testing Services.

From 1978-1981 Learning Services worked in association with Media Services and the David O. McKay Institute to administer and run the campus Learning Resource Centers program.
