Instructional Services Division took on the duties formerly part of Communication Services in 1972. It continued to oversee Broadcast Services, Educational Media Services, Electronic Media Services,and Motion Picture Production. In 1974, Instructional Services was reorganized into the Learning Resources Division. The director of Instructional Services Division was Darrel J. Monson (1972-1974).
