As part of a massive overhaul of the Honor Code in the fall of 1991, the University Standards Office was renamed the Honor Code Office. With these reforms a Honor Code Advisory Council and a student run Honor Code Council which lasted until 1997 were likewise created to work alongside the Honor Code Office. Norma Rohde (1991-1994) continued to serve as the director of this organization. She was followed by Ruth E. Brasher (1995-1996), Kenneth Rush Sumpter (1996-1999), and Steven M. Baker (1999- ).
