The Student Foreign Language Residence afforded students an opportunity for in-depth language study experience and practical application of the language under the direction of faculty and native residents many apply to live in the Student Foreign Language Residence. All activities in individual apartments were conducted in a foreign language. The program was open for men and women in French, Russian, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Korean, and Scandinavian languages.
