Brigham Young University. English Language Center

The English Language Center was a subsidiary program to the College of Humanities and was created in 1983. Glen W. Probst severed as program coordinator from 1983 to 1994. In this year a division of responsibilities was established through the creation of an administrator and academic coordinator positions. Glen W. Probst undertook the administrative coordinator position and C. Ray Graham served in the academic coordinator role both from 1994 to 2004.

The English Language Center is a resident program of intensive English language training.

Assets and Administrative Structure

The English Language Center for much of its history divided the administrative and academic aspects of the programs functions between two coordinators, under the direction of the college dean.
