The Employment Department was set up to aid students find jobs on campus. In 1985 the Employment Dept. became part of Placement and Employment Services. The manager of the Employment Dept. was Donald R. Lyman (1967-1985).

The Employment Dept. was set up to help students find part-time work both on and off campus.
Assets and Administrative Structure
The Employment Dept. was run by a manager and worked under Personnel Services. The Employment Department took over student employment from the Placement Center in 1967. In 1969, University Personnel Services was created as a superior office to the Employment Office.
