Brigham Young University. Electronic Media Dept.

In 1968 the Electronic Media Dept. was established to oversee all audio and video technology. Dean M. Austin directed the department from its establishment until 1977. In 1977, the Electronic Media Department was put under the jurisdiction of Media Services. Ralph O. Hickenlooper served as director from 1977 to 1993 when the department was abolished and its responsibilities absorbed by Media Services at large.
