In 2009 the Earth Sciences Museum was renamed the Museum of Paleontology. Directors and main curators include James A. Jensen (1976-1984), Wade E. Functions

The museum exhibited several full and partial dinosaur skeletons as well as other fossils. Through a variety of unique displays, it teaches much about past life on earth. It is also were skeletons and other fossils are worked on before being displayed.
