The Dept. of Theology and Religion was responsible for teaching the courses of: Book of Mormon, Church History, Life of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, Ecclesiastical history, Missionary courses, and Hymnology. The Ecclesiastical history course was a course designed to teach Christian history from the birth of Christ through the Restoration of the Gospel by Joseph Smith.
