The Dept. of Psychology was a part of the Church Teachers College until the college was split in 1920. The department was placed under the direction of the School of Arts and Sciences. The department was abolished in 1921 when the School of Arts and Sciences was renamed the College of Arts and Sciences. Dean R. Brimhall was the chairman of the Dept. of Psychology.
