The Department of Music was organized in 1905 under the College. For the 1904-1905 school year, music courses were part of the Department of Pedagogy. In 1905, it split into the Department of Education and the Department of Music. In 1906, the Department of Music dissolved and was not re-organized until 1912 under the Church Teachers College.
