Brigham Young University. Dept. of Modern Languages and Latin

The Dept. of Modern Languages and Latin was created and placed in the College of Arts and Sciences in 1921 when the School of Arts and Sciences. Benjamin F. Cummings served as the Department Chair until 1925. In 1926 the department was renamed the Dept. of Modern and Classical Languages and remained in the College of Arts and Sciences.
