Functions

The Department of Mathematics Education offered an undergraduate and master degrees in Mathematics Education. A minor was also offered. Courses in the undergraduate program are designed to help prospective mathematics teachers plan, manage, and implement classroom activities that facilitate student's learning of mathematics. The program was designed to help prospective students mater the foundational skills of mathematics and to facilitate deep reflection on mathematics at all levels. This would be done through observation of and participation in high-quality classroom practice.
