Functions

The Dept. of Instructional Science administered courses designed to develop scientific, professional, and technological skills required systematically to improve conventional and innovative instructional systems. The department offered a M.S. in Instructional Science, an EdS in Instructional Design and Production, an EdD in Instructional Science and Technology, a PhD in Instructional Science and Technology, and a PhD in Instructional Psychology.

The department was administered by a chairman who reported to the dean of the college.
