The Department of Industrial Education was a part of the College of Industrial and Technical Education beginning in 1966. Edwin C. Hinckley (1966-1972) and William E. McKell (1972-1973) served as chairmen.

Functions

The Department of Industrial Education provided baccalaureate programs for Industrial Arts and Technical Education teachers. Courses included that of Woodwork Fundamentals, Graphic Arts, and Metal Crafts and Lapidary.
