The Department of Family Life Education was a brief program, existing only from 1964 to 1966 under the College of Family Living. The previous departments of Homemaking Education and of Human Development and Family Relationships combined under the Department of Family Life Education. The chairman during this time was Blaine M. Porter.

Functions
