Functions
The Department of Educational Psychology included programs that led to the bachelor's degree in special education, and to graduate degrees-M.A., E.Ed., Ed.D., AND Sixth-Year Specialist in the areas of school psychology, instructional psychology, counseling and guidance, instructional media, and special education. The Institute for Special Education was also part of the department. Teachers in this institute were trained to teach the mentally handicapped, learning disabled, visually handicapped, and emotionally handicapped children.
