During its first year, the College of Education did not have any separate departments for the administration of coursework. Then in 1922, it created several new departments, including the Department of Educational Administration. The department offered courses in elementary, secondary and rural school administration, finances, personnel, supervision, and research techniques. In 1962, the department was combined with other departments to form the Graduate Department of Education.
