Brigham Young University. Dept. of Dance

The Department of Dance, previously known as the Department of Physical Education -- Dance, was established in 1993 within the College of Physical Education when the Department of Physical Education -- Dance was abolished. The Department of Dance existed within the College of Physical Education until 1998 when the college became the College of Health and Human Performance which then became the department's superior unit. The College of Health and Human Performance was discontinued in August 2009 and the Department of Dance was transferred to the College of Fine Arts and Communications.
