Functions

The Department of Community Education had five divisions of instruction—Off-Campus Credit, Telecourses, Discussion Groups, Community Lectures and Courses, and Off-Campus Leadership Weeks. These divisions helped educate the community and others who wanted to further their education.

The Department of Community Education was under the direction of a chairman who reported to the dean of Adult Education and Extension Services.
