Brigham Young University. Dept. of Commercial Painting and Decoration

In 1907, the Department of Commercial Painting and Decoration was established within the School of Arts and Trades, The department taught several courses with aim of training students to becoming commercial painters. Before the department was established, commercial painting classes were occasionally taught under other departments. In 1909, the department and its courses were dissolved.
