Functions

To emphasize two areas of knowledge: child development and family relations. In the child development area, the basic developmental and behavioral characteristics of the child are studied from conception to adulthood. In the family relations area, students gain knowledge and insight concerning dating, courtship, marriage, and family behavior throughout the family life cycle.
