The Department of Business Education and Office Management was responsible for the teaching of courses on the classes of basic classroom procedures, secondary curriculum and participation, secondary student teaching, fundamentals of business education. It was also responsible for the teaching of courses that focused on general office management including the classes of calculating machines, basic office procedures, machine accounting, records control and office machines, directed office experience, office management, business English, business report writing, beginning shorthand, shorthand dictation, intermediate shorthand, applied stenography, fundamentals of typewriting, intermediate typewriting, production typewriting, secretarial and statistical typewriting, transcription, advanced transcription and speedbuilding, expert shorthand, advanced expert shorthand and introduction to court reporting.
