The Department of Bible and Modern Scripture was a religious department which served to better educate individuals on a mainly scriptural basis. The following individuals served as department chairmen: Sidney B. Sperry (1941-1953), Roy W. Doxey (1954-1957), Eldin Ricks (1958), Daniel H. Ludlow (1959-1960), and Howard H. Barron (1961-1966).
