Functions
The department is divided into four main sections: Circulation Section, Marketing Section, Production Section, and Selection and Utilization Section. The services provided by the department included rentals of films and film strips; rental of other audio-visual equipment; installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of public address equipment; sales and promotion of film materials; production of media; graphic services including design and preparation of signs, posters, charts, etc.; photographic services for film strips; consultation services for educative areas in conjunction with media services; development and review; and record-keeping for the department.
