Brigham Young University. Dept. of Art

In 1981 the Department of Art was part of the College of Fine Arts and Communications. The department was previously named the Department of Art and Design. In 1996 the art curriculum was included in the Department of Visual Arts. Department Chairmen were: Robert L. Marshall (1981-1982; 1988-1995), Franz Johansen (1982-1985), Sherron D. Hill (1985-1988), and Michael D. Day (1995-1997).
