Brigham Young University. Dept. of Agriculture (1920-1922)

The Dept. of Agriculture was a part of the Church Teachers College until the college was split in 1920. The department was then placed under the direction of the School of Arts and Sciences. The department remained under the renamed College of Arts and Sciences in 1921. The department was then divided into four different departments in the College of Applied Sciences, including the Dept. of Agronomy, the Dept. of Animal Husbandry, the Dept. of Horticulture, and the Dept. of Agricultural Engineering. Department chairs included Amos N. Merrill (1920-1921) and Thomas L. Martin (1921-1922).
