The Department of Adult Education Services consists of the following: Evening School, Off-Campus Courses, Home Study, Travel Studies, Institutes and Short Courses, Leadership Week, Publication Services, and BYU-Ricks Adult Education Services. This department facilitates programs that help educate the adult community outside of the regular campus courses offered.

The Department of Adult Education Services was under the direction of a chairman who reported to the dean of Adult Education and Extension Services.
