The Counseling and Career Center was organized in 1998 when the Counseling and Development Center changed it's name. The program's functions and goals aim to assist students in their intellectual, spiritual, and personal/social development and maturity. Ronald K. Chapman (1998- ) has served as director.

Functions

The Counseling and Career Center exists to aid and support students in reaching their full potential, which includes growth and development in emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual areas. Among the different areas of assistance are Academic Support, Career and Learning Information Center, Career Placement Services, Open Major Advisement, Personal and Career Counseling Services, Testing Services, and Workshops.

The Counseling and Career Center functions under the administration of a director under the dean of Student Life.
