Brigham Young University. Capital Needs/Utilities Analysis

Until 2001, Capital Needs Analysis was officially under the Church Educational System and not under BYU. Technically that has not changed, but because of its fusion with Utilities Analysis, it has been recorded here. CNA itself has existed since 1990. Directors of this department have included Doug Christensen (2001) and Dan Gleason (2002- ).

Description

Established: 2001

Location: Provo, Utah (2001- )

Functions

The function of the Capital Needs/Utilities Analysis department includes a part, Capital Needs Analysis, which is owned by the Church Educational System of the LDS Church and not by BYU. The other part, Utilities Analysis, makes an evaluation of Brigham Young University's campus utilities and brings the data back to the department, reporting to the Physical Facilities Division.

Assets and Administrative Structure

Capital Needs/Utilities Analysis is owned by CES but has grown more closely associated with the Physical Facilities Division at BYU over recent years, including leadership by Doug Christensen (before and after an employee of Physical Facilities) and of course its very close association with Utilities Analysis.
