Brigham Young University. Campus Life Events and Services

Campus Life Events and Services was created as a temporary administrative unit in 2005. Operating under the authority of the Dean of Students, Campus Life Events and Services had a mandate to foster wholesome recreational activities and personal development for students on campus. In 2009, it was dissolved as a unit and almost all its subordinate offices were moved to Student Leadership. Its administrator was Jim Slaughter (2005-2009).

Functions

Campus Life Events and Services was tasked with arranging and promoting campus activities, in addition to overseeing the lost and found and the information desk in the Wilkinson Student Center. It also coordinated activities and conferences in the Wilkinson Student Center, including those internal and external to Brigham Young University.

Assets and Administrative Structure

Campus Life Events and Services oversaw the activities of the Campus Lost and Found, Campus Scheduling, Events Management, Guest Services, the Information Center (WSC), and the Student Activities Board. Campus Life Events and Services was overseen by the Dean of Students.
