Originally it was under the direction of the college dean. In 1966, a coordinator was in charge of the program. Coordinators were: Paul V. Hyer (1966-1968), R. Lanier Britsch (1968-1970), Spencer J. Palmer (1970-1976), Russell N. Horiuchi (1976-1979), and Gary S. Williams (1979-1983).

Functions
