Functions
The Admissions Advisors Program was set up to advise students as to whether they should attend BYU or attend classes near their homes where there were institutes available. By 1968 the function had broadened for students with respect to all Church educational institutions, with representatives from BYU and institutes of religion.

The program was run by a director who reported to the University.
