BYU-Ogden Center for Continuing Education
In 1966 the Ogden Adult Education Center was renamed the BYU-Ogden Center for Continuing Education. Those who served as chairmen of the center were: George S. Haslam (1962-1973), Orson B. Roper (1973-1981; 1982-1986), Evelyn Zundell (coordinator in 1981-82), Roger W. Cox (1986-1988), and Frank Santiago (1988-1992).

Functions
The Ogden Center was officially opened August 10, 1957, to provide the people in and near Ogden with some of the advantages enjoyed by those living close to the BYU campus. The center offers upper-division and graduate courses in most of the academic departments of the University. Informal courses, lectures, seminars, workshops, special programs organized for business, industry, and special groups are also a part of the educational offering.
Assets and Administrative Structure
The BYU-Ogden Center for Continuing Education is under the supervision of a department chairman who reported directly to the dean of the Division of Continuing Education. In 1988, the leadership was changed from a department chairman to a director.
