In 1922, Associated Women Students was established and became affiliated with the National inter-collegiate organization of Associated Women Students. The first president was Anne Marie Eggertsen, the Student Body Vice-President. Functions
The aim was to obtain the interest and participation of female students in college activities, also with the purpose to train for leadership and initiative, further the spirit of unity and democracy in student body life, increase a sense of responsibility toward each fellow women, and encourage high social standards.
Assets and Administrative Structure
Prior to 1925-26, the Vice President of the Student Body was the President of the Associated Women Students. Officers were then elected by and represented female students.
