The Department of Homemaking Education was introduced to the College of Family Living in 1955. During the years of 1964 to 1966, this department was under the department of Family Life Education. The following individuals served as chairmen: Marion C. Pfund (1955-1956), Virginia Poulson (1956-1958, 1959-1968) and Ethel Lee Jewell (1958-1959).
