The Learning Centers Division (1981-1986) coordinated with faculty to provide non-print media resources to enhance the BYU education.

The Learning Centers Division was created in 1981 when control of the Learning Resource Centers transferred back to the library from the McKay Center. Following a review by the graduate council in 1985, the division was reassigned as a department in the General Services Division in 1986.
