The Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science was established in 2002 under the direction of the College of Biology and Agriculture. It replaced the Department of Food Science and Nutrition. Department chairmen included: Lynn V. Ogden (2002-2007) and Oscar A. Pike (2007-2008).
