In 2006 it became a part of the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship when ISPART was renamed.

Functions

The Research Technology Group (RTG) developed and maintains a text retrieval and analysis program called WordCruncher. RTG also assists in the preparation of WordCruncher versions of electronic texts. With WordCruncher, one can easily find where one or more words occur in electronic texts. Its analysis tools facilitate the study of textual content and language.
