School of Arts and Trades. Dept. of Trades

In 1906, the School of Arts and Industries was renamed the School of Arts and Trades, while maintaining its administrative functions and departments. The Department of Trades continued to teach several courses with aim of training students in various trades including as dressmakers, blacksmiths, and carpenters. In 1909, the School of Arts and Industries and its departments were absorbed by the High School.
