Functions

The function of the Secondary Education Advisory Committee was to review proposals for teaching majors and minors and make recommendations concerning the establishment of, and changes in, such majors and minors; to examine and review the programs for training secondary teachers and to recommend to departments desirable modifications; and to counsel the departments on matters pertaining to the preparation of secondary teachers.
