Brigham Young University. Printing and Advertising Committee

The Printing and Advertising Committee was created in 1906 with N. L. Nelson (1906-1908) as chairman. He was followed by Joseph B. Keeler (1908-1910), and A. N. Merrill (1910-1911). In 1911 the Printing and Advertising Committee was renamed the Printing and Publicity Committee.

Functions

The functions of the Printing and Advertising Committee were to plan an arrange printing orders for the University as well as the local community, supervise the publishing of the University quarterly, arrange for articles on the University or by University staff in LDS Church publications, supervise the University's efforts in public relations, advertising and recruiting.
