Functions

The function of the Orientation Committee was to plan and organize an orientation program for students entering BYU that would provide students with the proper perspective of the academic, religious, and social opportunities available at BYU and the various community facilities that serve the students.

Assets and Administrative Structure

The members of this committee were appointed by the University President and the Deans. The committee was responsible to the Dean of Student Life.
