Brigham Young University. Iran Committee
The Iran Committee was created in 1954 in conjunction with the University's involvement in the United States of America's Four Point Program in Iran. This committee was abolished in 1961. The chairmen of this committee were Joseph T. Bentley (1954-1955), Dean Peterson (1955-1956) and A Reed Morrill (1956-1961).

The function of the Iran Committee was to maintain a constant study of BYU's participation in the United States Point Four program in Iran. They likewise recommended faculty members for this program and maintained a liaison with those faculty members now serving.
