Sometime before 1963 the Assembly Committee was renamed Forum Assembly and Devotional Services. Harold R. Clark served as its first chairman with Wayne B. Hales and Stewart L. Grow as assistant chairmen. By 1968 this committee's duties were being performed by a Forum Assembly Coordinator, who was replaced in 1969 with the Committee for all Assembly Programs.
