Brigham Young University. Extension Division Council

The Extension Division Council was primarily concerned with advising the director of the Extension Division in problems with the division. However, the Extension Division also encapsulated the Extension Division Publications Board, which operated from 1955 through c. 1958. Chairmen of the Extension Division Council were Christen Jensen (1950-1952) and Harold Glenn Clark (1952-c. 1958).

Functions

The Extension Division Council was formed to advise the director of the Extension Division in the problems of the Division. It was also connected to the Extension Division Publications Board which advised and assisted in the editing and publication of Extension Division material the director of the Extension Division in the problems of the Division.

Assets and Administrative Structure

The Extension Committee was administered by a chairman and was composed of the Director of the Extension Division and the five academic deans. This committee was also supervised by the president of the University.
