Functions

The main function of the Department of Housing and Design was to help students to develop an appreciation and knowledge of aesthetically pleasing and useful aspects of home life and to incorporate this knowledge into creating a home of growth. Courses included that of Weaving, Household Equipment, and Home Furnishings.
